SWEDEN ROCK FESTIVAL Sets Another Attendance Record!

May 21, 2009

The organizers of the the Sweden Rock Festival, which is scheduled to take place June 3-6, 2009 in Sölvesborg, Sweden, have issued the following update:

"For the ninth consecutive year, Sweden Rock Festival makes an attendance record! Last year's festival turned out to be the biggest in Swedish history with 33,200 visitors. With two weeks left until the festival of 2009, beginning on June 3, it is now definitive that this year's event will be even bigger!

"Sweden Rock Festival started out under the name Summer Festival in Olofström, Blekinge as early as 1992, moved to Karlshamn in 1993 and then assumed the name Karlshamn Rock Festival. When the festival outgrew its residence in Folkets Park (People's Park),Karlshamn we moved it further to the small village of Norje in the county of Sölvesborg, and renamed it Sweden Rock Festival. Since 2001 the festival has broke its own attendance record every year, and our amazing and devoted audience has thus proven once again that hard rock, in all its shapes and forms, is bigger than ever.

"There are still some three-day tickets left, and a limited number of one-day tickets for June 5, but after that, all tickets are out."
